Samsung Lightray 4G for MetroPCS leaked, complete with TV antenna


Back in January at CES, we got a chance to look at a then-unnamed device for MetroPCS that featured Dyle Mobile TV. Today, as PCMag notes, Dyle briefly provided the name for said device on a FAQ page: the Samsung Lightray 4G. The phone is quite similar to the industrial design of the original Droid Charge, but the key difference is that it supports receiving OTA broadcasts without using data thanks to its old-school antenna and an Android app to go with it. Dyle TV has directly partnered with ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and others — but it will offer other local programming via “a full scan of channels that are available over the air.”
