Mac mini said to be first US-built computer in Apple’s domestic production push

Apple and Foxconn are moving Mac mini production to the US, says DigiTimes, contradicting earlier rumors that a redesigned Mac Pro would be the first to land in the country. Earlier this month, CEO Tim Cook told Brian Williams that Apple was planning to invest $ 100 million to bring Mac production home, and a spokesman for Foxconn has recently confirmed rumors that it would be expanding its operations in North America.
