Court rules Amazon’s ‘App Store’ isn’t false advertising, but Apple’s trademark will go on

A United States district court ruled today that Amazon’s Appstore for Android is not false advertising. Apple previously claimed that Amazon was diluting its trademark on “App Store” and engaging in false advertising by using the name, but the courts have found that the Cupertino-based company did not meet its burden of proof.
