Intel still faces declining PC sales, but meets estimates with $13.5 billion revenue in Q4 2012

Intel has wrapped up its fiscal 2012, and today it released its earnings report for the fourth quarter. The company managed to match its estimated revenue for the quarter, pulling in $ 13.5 billion and earning a total of $ 3.2 billion during the fourth quarter. It beat its projected $ 0.45 earnings per share for the quarter, by posting a $ 0.48 EPS instead. The company pulled in $ 0.4 billion less than it did during the same period last year. For the entire year, Intel is reporting an operating income of $ 14.6 billion on $ 53.3 billion in revenue.
