Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch allegedly leaving to join Apple’s ranks


CNBC is reporting that Kevin Lynch, Adobe’s chief technology officer, will be leaving his position to pursue a new role at Apple. A document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission confirms his departure, revealing that Lynch offered his resignation on March 18th “to pursue other opportunities.” .Lynch has worked for Adobe since 2005 and is credited for inspiring the company’s significant push into web publishing through Creative Cloud and its expansion to multiple screens. Lynch’s resume could be what caught Apple’s eye; Cupertino has previously struggled in the area of cloud computing. Lynch could be a valuable asset as the company works to evolve iCloud, one of the features mentioned on its new iPhone promo page.
