Microsoft says Windows Phone Remote Desktop app will join iOS and Android counterparts

Yesterday, Microsoft released Remote Desktop apps for iOS and Android that let smartphone users control their Windows PCs on the go, but there was no Windows Phone version in sight. Fortunately, it’s something the company is working quickly to fix. According to The Next Web, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that a Remote Desktop app for Windows Phone was in the works, though there’s no specific timeframe for that launch yet. “Remote desktop on phones is a relatively rare usage scenario,” the statement reads. “That said, we are working on a version of the app for Windows Phone.
