Marvel Studios shuffles release schedule to make room for Spider-Man

Now that Spider-Man is a part of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe starting with a “new creative direction” slated for July 28th, 2017, Marvel Studios is pushing a number of its films back to make room and avoid competition. The next Thor movie would have gone head-to-head with Spider-Man but is now taking Black Panther’s original November 2017 premiere date. In turn, Black Panther is taking Captain Marvel’s slot, which in turn is taking Inhumans’ slot, which now has the latest film for a known Marvel Studios movie: July 12th, 2019. The two-part Avengers: Infinity War movies are not budging.

Freebie Release: Infographic Elements By Vector Open Stock

If you have come across plenty of infographics online, you may have thought about releasing your own. There are a lot of tools out there to help you do this fairly easily but your design will be far from unique, design-wise. To help you with this, our friends at Vector Open Stock have released a freebie exclusively for readers.

Vector Open Stock is home to more than 1600 original vector graphics, with 10 free vectors released every day. In this freebie pack, they have included icons, bars, world maps, pie charts and other design elements that would fit perfectly in an infographic.

While the elements are primed for content to do with fashion, mobile preferences, career, work and transportation, you can use them in any other setting that fits with your infographic.

Judge keeps Steve Jobs video testimony from public release

A California judge has denied a request from a trio of media outlets to make video deposition of late Apple CEO Steve Jobs available to the public. The request was filed by the Associated Press, Bloomberg, and CNN during this month’s trial over security measures Apple added to iTunes and iPods nearly a decade ago, where 27-minutes of the deposition was shown in court. The request prompted a heated three-way debate over whether making the video available outside the courtroom would run afoul with federal laws prohibiting the recording of courtroom proceedings.
