Netflix to stream The Interview starting January 24th

The Interview is coming to Netflix. In its quarterly earnings letter to shareholders, the streaming company announced that the controversial Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy will be available in the US and Canada starting this Saturday January 24th — thirty days after its Christmas Day debut at independent theaters. Netflix says it’s offering The Interview “exclusively,” which means you may not be seeing it on Hulu Plus or Amazon Prime Instant Video in the short term.

Since opening its doors 18 months ago, Rotterdam-based film and design studio From Form has gone from strength to strength. One of their first major projects as a new studio saw founders Jurjen Versteeg, Ashley Govers and Wouter Keijzer creating the main titles for Barcelona-based creative conference OFFF 2013 – not a bad gig for anyone, let alone a young studio that’s just opened its doors.

‘Party Down’ will stream exclusively on Hulu starting this Friday

Here’s something to do for this Labor Day weekend that doesn’t involve inclement weather: stay inside and watch Party Down on Hulu. Starz’s cult comedy ran for two seasons starting in 2009, earning critical acclaim but never finding a large enough audience to keep going. It’s a chance to see a group of actors who were on the precipice of bigger things, including Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), Lizzy Caplan (M…

4/22 blaze it: Snoop Dogg voices ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ starting Tuesday

The headline feature of last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts was the addition of a playable German Shepherd, but the latest downloadable content takes the dog theme one step further — it replaces the typical gruff announcer with none other than gangsta rap legend Snoop Dogg. Multiplayer sessions will now be punctuated by proclamations such as “Rack up points by reaching the enemy portal, you dig?” and “Don’t stop. Cap ’em and shank ’em!”
